We've been photographers for seven years now! We may look young, however we know our stuff!

We love photography and love to be creative and reveal people's personalities and emotions through our work! We love being able to work together!

Christ is very important to us, and being able to use His gift to capture the joy and emotion of a moment is something we really love being able to do!

Experience and Accomplishments

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art, concentrating in photography, from Erskine College. I also worked as a photographer at Erskine College, The Greenville News, The State newspaper, and LINK Magazine. I photographed so many events and people and worked in every type of photographic situation. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience through it all.

My wife, Marissa, always admired photography, and got the opportunity to take film photography in high school. Sheworked for Erskine College as a student photographer. She won 1st place in the Student Art Show and minored in art. We have so much fun getting to do our passion together as our job! Together, we have photographed 75+ weddings, countless people, children and families!

Being members of Professional Photographers of America helps us continuously develop our photography skills. I won first place in a Nikon photography contest for one of my wedding photos of groomsmen jumping in the air!

Our Style

Our photography can best be described as fun, colorful, bright and sharp! It's joy-filled and captures people's real emotions and personalities! We like to be creative and fresh with our photography, while also including a traditional side! We especially enjoy weddings because we get to see so much happiness and joy in so many people. We love that our profession allows us to experience your joy through photographing your wedding, be a part of your most important day, and capture it for a timeless image to enjoy.

• Marissa loves animals, especially cats!

• Davey plays the guitar and mandolin.

  Marissa loves Italy for its ancient Roman architecture, and fantasizing about Christ walking the same roads.

• We love spending time with our families, hiking, going to the movies, and playing video games.

• Davey's favorite band's include Oh Land, Nickel Creek, White Stripes, Goldfrapp and Fiona Apple.

• Marissa's favorite movie is Lion King.

• Davey illustrated a book, Bats in the Air, Bats in My Hair, that was published and is available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

• We have two cats named Ting Ting and Frankie who love to chase strings and love to pose for the camera.

• We both shoot with a Nikon D300.

• Davey's favorite lens is the Nikon 35mm because it takes great portrait shots with a sharp subject and blurry artistic background.

• Marissa's favorite lens is the Nikon 105mm micro lens because it lets you take very close up pictures of small items like wedding rings!
